A Bloody Good Time: Vampire Shoot with Storm

Hey everyone,

I’m excited to share some shots from my latest vampire-themed photoshoot, featuring my friend Storm. If you’re a fan of Zelda, you might know her as a superfan and a charitable, bubbly personality from her Twitch channel Song of Storms Play and Instagram (@song.of.stormz). But did you know she’s also a huge vampire enthusiast? Storm has been a part of almost every vampire shoot I’ve ever done, and she never disappoints.

For this shoot at the Millennium Fandom Bar (@millenniumfandombar), Storm transformed into a ridiculously sexy, feral-looking vampire. This wasn’t your average photoshoot—imagine a scene straight out of Dexter, with a hundred dollars’ worth of plastic tarp and RGB lights shining through to create an ethereal, creepy, diffused look. The result? Amazing shadows and soft lighting that bring out the best (or worst) in our vampiric subjects. And of course, no vampire shoot is complete without gallons of fake blood. I always encourage the participants to go wild with it, and they certainly did this time!

I typically organize one of these vampire shoots every 6-9 months, and I might set up another one this fall. If you’re interested in joining, tag my social media post with a blood emoji or something spooky. If there’s enough interest, we’ll make it happen.

In the meantime, enjoy these bloody fantastic photos of Storm. Her feral vampire look is one for the books!
